Readings by Nikki Giovanni and a wonderful breakfast provided by the Old Mill Inn Restaurant. Some of Ms. Giovanni's Awards include: National Literary Hall of Fame for Writers of African Descent. The Gwendolyn Brooks Center of Chicago State University. 16 October 1998; . American Library Association's Black Caucus Award for Non-fiction (for Quilting the Black-Eyed Pea); NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work. Reservations will be on the first come, first served basis, and space is limited.
