Jas Mardis will be reading from his poetry and telling stories from many of the people and times that mark his journey through the Southern landscape. His Family Story Project is an artistic culmination of bringing home, to the heart, the experiences that escape us culturally in this fast-paced technical living that further pull away the hearts and minds of our generations. Who ya people? is where the journey begins. Leave here looking like somebody loves you! and Shut up, Baby. You don’t know nothun’ yet are two stops along the way. The concluding stage of The Family Story Project presentation is, Now, run tell dat!
